What can a Dad say about his teen, that people haven't heard already. I know. I love my kid to death - but she is going through a stage where she is like, "whatever" one minute, and "I love you" another ... I can deal with that - I went through the same stage when I was a teen.

She loves the entire family, unconditionally; and that is all that's important. She enjoys being with her friends, sometimes to much; but when she starts doing things important with school, she tightens her belt, and rules with work. Especially with some of her partners. The key word is some.

In her spare time, she likes going to the movies, "downtown" (that's what I still call it), shopping, spending the night at friends, swimming, going to a few hangouts with friends, and other various places. So she is really active.

One funny thing to add about going places. Sam loves going roller-blading with friends. I can remember taking her once when she was younger, at a birthday party. Now I am used to going rolling skating. BIG DIFFERENCE. I took her with my friend Bill, and a few friends. Anyway, She was going around on the blades with no prob. I on the other hand, was falling on my behind! That was the last time I ever went.

Last time I took her, I just walked around - while she and her friends had a great time. What a difference in age, 'eh?
