"the abrupt atorm"

the sun is lost in the hazy sky,
the wind is strong while the trees are shaking to the side.
thunder is rumbling in my ears,
and my eyes are fighting against the wind.

as I take cover,
the water is falling quickly,
along with effortless balls dropping from the atmosphere.

while they fall,
they are melting like illuminated snowflakes,
and the sky is opening into a colorful portrait of life.

the water has restrained.
and life has commenced again.
