| Sister Number One. Aunt Mary. My beloved Aunt Mary, the number one child of the family, whom everybody looked up to, passed away this year (09/26/07) at the great age of 100 years old.
Everybody has stories of Aunt Mary, whether they are funny or sad, they all seem to end up telling us that she did something for each of us, and held the family together. We will all miss Aunt Mary; but now she is in a better place, a calmer place, with the person that she spent a good portion of her life with. Uncle John. I am sure he was waiting at the gates for her, with his arms spread wide, saying, "Welcome home Mary."
Previous Clip About Aunt Mary:
Aunt Mary is doing pretty good. In fact, I think that she is doing great. Every time Dea, Mom or I go and see her, she seems sluggish and down, but within minutes, Aunt Mary is full of life and talking away.
That's what I love about her. She always has a story to tell, and some of the things that she tells us, I have never heard. Especially if it's a story about the good old radio shop in Miller, or her childhood (which is rare to hear). Aunt Mary is a very rare individual.Just in January this year (2007), Aunt Mary turned 100 years old; and that is quite amazing!
Sister Number Two. Aunt Emily. Aunt Em is so full of energy, that I can't stand it! I'm in my late thirties and I wish that I could move around and accomplish some of the activities that she can! Aunt Em is always visiting her sisters, and keeping up with the family news.
Just this week (10/25/04) , we were having the wooden floor replaced in our home because of water damage, and Aunt Em, told Dea to come and stay with her until all of this work around our house was done. She didn't of course, but that's another story. Aunt Em still is playing pinnacle with the same gang, and loves gardening.
