Mom Ok. I'm sure that a lot of people think that their Mom is "One of a kind", but my Mom really is.

Back in 1943, Mom was born in Gary, Indiana where just about the entire family was born. She attended Miller Grade School, until she was sent to William A. Wirt for the rest of her education. Wirt, in it's time, used to be a grade school and high school!

After Mom graduated in 1961, she went to work. Now I can't name all of the places that she has worked, but I can remember the following: John's Radio and TV in Miller, Western Cold Drawn Steel (20 Years), Hy-Alloy Steel, Kenwal Steel, and Castle Metal (10 Years). So most of her life, she has been in the steel industry.

In her spare time, what spare time there is, she enjoys going out with friends and family. Mom also loves to go on a vacation, once a year with Aunt Joni and Barb, and have a wonderful time. Cha-Ching (inside joke)!

In the evening, when she is relaxing, she likes to hop on the net and check her e-mail, and go to some of her favorite sites. She is always on IWon and Simslots, and playing games. Maybe I'll buy her some computer games for Christmas!

Every time I turn around, Mom and Sam are running off together doing "stuff"; It's so cute. Seeing the relationship between a Grandma and her Granddaughter is so fabulous. It's like the connection between Dea and I when I was growing up, and especially between Mom and I. So close. When you have four generations underneath one roof, you always have to remember what happens each day, and why each person does certain things for you.

My Mom - A very special and loving person, who would bend over backwards to help you!
